Your part, tooling and production needs

Assessing the right manufacturing approach

Machine suitability depends on the component, material and mould tool together. Share your drawing, material requirements and expected quantities so we can assess your project.

Equipment and repeat setup

Our injection moulding machines can store processing settings to support repeat setup. Consistent production also depends on material preparation, tooling condition and appropriate component checks.

If production needs to move to another machine, compatibility and the checks required should be reviewed before the transfer.

New or existing tooling

We can procure tooling on your behalf and take responsibility for its design and manufacture through to your part approval. We can also assess tooling you already own for manufacture at MMP.

For an existing tool, share available tool drawings, previous samples and production information alongside the component specification.

Supporting your specification

From material selection to finished components

Materials and colour

We process a range of thermoplastics, including thermoplastic elastomers. Material selection depends on the grade, component design and intended use. Drying and colouring are available to support your specification.

Cleanroom manufacture

For components requiring controlled manufacturing conditions, discuss cleanliness, handling and packaging requirements with our team as part of the project specification.

Planning your project

Do you only manufacture medical components?

No. Medical manufacturing is our specialism, and we welcome enquiries from other industries. Suitability depends on your component, material, tooling and production requirements.

Can you assess a small production run?

Tell us your initial batch size and expected annual demand. We can assess feasibility and discuss how tooling, setup and material requirements affect the manufacturing approach and quotation.

What should I send for a quotation?

Send a drawing or CAD file if available, the intended use, material requirements, quantities and target timescale. Include critical dimensions and any inspection or documentation requirements. If you have existing tooling, let us know what information is available.
